What are the various forms and petitions for EB-5 investments?

I-924 Petition I-924 is to seek regional center designation and approval of an EB-5 project with USCIS I-526 Petition I-526 petition is filed by the EB-5 investor’s immigration attorney when they are initially seeking immigration benefits through the EB-5 immigration investor program. I-485 Petition The I-485 petition is filed by the EB-5 investor’s immigration attorney after the I-526 petition has been approved and the EB-5 investor is seeking to change their status to a conditional green card or EB-5 visa. This process can take fro 4-6 months depending on USCIS processing times and backlog. Read more about the I-485 Petition here. I-829 Petition The I-829 Petition is filed by the EB-5 investor’s immigration attorney after the investor has completed their conditional residency period and their EB-5 project has created the required number of jobs.
